so many people in my family have died in the last 4 and a half years (3 great-grandparents, a great-great-uncle, and now Bob, or in my eyes, grandaddy) ive learned something...
it's not that grandaddy lost the war to the grim reaper or to cancer, it's that he had the strength to let go. He's had, as i put in a speech for his funeral, "a lot of speedbumps and potholes on his highway of life" because he did. I'm sad that hes gone, but im happy he isnt suffering anymore in heaven. he is now happy and riding in his corvette with his dog, TC

I wish I had known Bob longer but in the short time I knew him he became my best buddy. He quickly became part of our family and we will greatly miss our fellowship with him. He was a wonderfull friend. I think Bob was truly one in a million.

I remember Bob from A. H. Robins (as well as his father). He was always kind and helpful; a special man and I know he will be missed. My sincere sympathy is extended to his family. The "good ones" are gone all too soon.

Louise and family please accept our deepest condolences on your loss.
Bob was a special person that comes into your life and leaves too soon. He was a kind man who always had a smile on his face for a friend. And he always had a joke or two to make you laugh.
We will keep you and your family in our thoughts for a long time.

To Bobby's family, I knew Bobby for many years meeting in Manchester Vol. F.D. and working in cooperation with him when he was Ops. officer at MVRS. Bobby always wanted what was best for the citizens and was a man of honor. If he told you something, you could depend on it. I pray that God will comfort you in your loss.
