John Thomas Malcomb

MALCOMB, John Thomas, 87, of Richmond, Va., died Monday, March 30, 2009. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. John worked in the auto industry and retired from West Broad Honda. He was a longtime member of Calvary Wesleyan Church and was a current member of West End Alliance Church. His parents, John and Nola Rodgers Malcomb; and twin sister, Lillian Thompson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie Massey Malcomb; a son and his wife, Wes and Page Malcomb; and many nieces and nephews. He was a beloved husband, father and father-in-law. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road, Richmond, Va. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. Burial will follow in Beulah Church Cemetery.
