Lester Brown

BROWN, Lester, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on November 7, 2010 in White Salmon, Washington. Lester, who is from King & Queen, Virginia, was a devout Christian, long-standing member of the Masonic Lodge, and served in United States Navy during World War II. He is survived by his grandsons, Eric Brown and Kevin Brown; granddaughters, Michele Sliwa, Karen Brown, Kristinne Brown; daughters-in-law, Angela Brown and Nellie Brown; son-in-law, Davis Sliwa; and great-grandchildren, Casey Brown, Kevin Brown, Eric Brown Jr., Brianna Brown, Summer Brown, Brooke Brown and Andrielle Sliwa. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 12, at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. Burial will follow in Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery, Shanghai, Va. The family will receive friends Thursday, 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.vincentfh.com.
