I didn't know "VEE-VEE", but I heard so much about her from my friend Elnita. She expressed how sweet and kind she was and about she was very family oriented. I pray that you all find peace and can reflect on all your lovely memories of this "earth angel". May the peace of God which passes all understanding be yours now and forever.
Blessings Always,

To the Family:
I had the wonderful opportunity
of meeting VeeVee thru her sister Janet. I often ate lunch with them as I was a new employee at the hospital and did not know anyone. VeeVee had such a contagious smile and was always there to offer a smile and great story of life. I feel honored to have been able to spend that time with her and Janet, as well as to meet her precious Emma on visits to the hospital to see Janet. My thoughts and prayers are with the families! VeeVee you will surely be missed! Janet, my prayers are with you also during this difficult time...

To Vee Vee's Family,
I just learned of Vee Vee's passing and wanted you to know how deeply sorry I am for your great loss. I always thought Vee Vee was the sweetest, most gentle soul I have ever had the honor to know.
I loved working and talking with her at Wright Signs. She always seemed to elevate everyone above herself. I respected and admired her for that and for being the joyful, genuine person she was.
I talked to her recently, when I was at the hospital for the birth of my first grandchild. She smiled and told me how wonderful being a grandparent is!
I will miss her. The Lord had called his good and faithful servant home.
May God Bless you all.

To the family,
I love VeeVee like a sister.At the front desk, we were like the 3 amigos. We laughed,we joked, we fussed, we cried and we prayed together. Everyone day was a good day when you saw her face.Her spirit rubbed off on me and she will surely be missed, but she will forever be in my heart. I'm truly blessed to have known her, and my life is fuller having known her. I thank God that he loved her enough to prepare a place for her in heaven. She so deserves to go to heaven.I believe instead of him sending an angel for her, he came himself and got her and took her home with him. Through the tears I have shed and the ones I'm going to shed because I miss her, I can surely say VeeVee will continue to live in us all. No more pain, no more suffering. God said enough and came and got her.Way to soon for you all and us, but right on time for God.If I had to leave you all with something from VeeVee, it would be LOVE EACH OTHER LIKE SHE LOVED YOU ALL. THAT'S WHAT SHE WOULD WANT. If there is anything we, at the front desk can do for you all, please let us know.

To the Hazelwood family,

We are truly sorry to hear of your loss. VeeVee was a very special and loving person. She always had a smile on her face, and always always had a kind word for everyone she met. I know that VeeVee is in Heaven at the side of the Lord. May it bring you peace to know that she suffers no more, she is happy and visiting all of those who left before her. While we are crying with sorrow "there she goes." her family of angels are crying with happiness "here she comes!!" Be blessed and know that God is your every comfort.

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you musy not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You will rest in Jesus' land

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come.

To Vee-Vee’s Family

Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss.
Vee-Vee was not only a co-worker but a dear friend to me. I met Vee- Vee several years ago when she came to work in the emergency room at Community Hospital, we became fast friends and over the years we developed a sister like relationship. I will miss her soft voice, her many acts of kindness towards other co-workers, patients, family members even strangers. There were times when we laughed so hard until we had tears in our eyes. Vee-Vee loved her family more than words can describe. She spoke often about family gatherings, always wanted everyone in her family to be happy and together. Vee-Vee especially loved planning and talking about the holidays with her children, just about a month ago she was showing me what she wanted to get her daughter in- laws for Christmas. She kept a picture of Emma on her desk and I would often see her smiling at the picture. Emma was truly a joy in her life.
Vee-Vee and I often said that our seats at the front desk of the imaging department were the best seats in the house, but I know she now has the very best seat. A seat heaven watching over her family and loved ones God bless you all, and please call on me if you need me.

My Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Vee Vee was a very kind and gentle person. I will always remember her smile. Although I worked with her many times, I most remember the last time I saw her when she was in the hospital. As always she talked about how much she loved her family. She was very sick but she still had her beautiful smile and spirit.
