I was associated with Arter for 21 years at Branch, Cabell & Co. in the 50s - 70s. We were partners and became charter members of the Bull & Bear Club. Through those years Arter was always a gentleman and greatly respected. I offer my sympathy to his family, who have suffered a great loss.

Mackey and Family,
I am really at a loss for words after Artie's unfortunate passing. I thoroughly enjoyed the many times I was able to spend with him hunting, fishing and just talking. He did so much for the Dove club for so many years that there are not enough words to adequately thank him. While I wish he were still alive and healthy, I know he is happy to be back with Lei and no longer suffering. That photo of the two of them when they got married that Artie kept in the living room is priceless and says so much about them. I will miss him. I look forward to seeing you in September. Ron Benton

Victoria and I were so sorry to hear of Arter's passing...I have many great memories of our days dove hunting and fishing with the group at Forestmere..
Sorry we could not be there for the service but I'm sure Arter knows where our thoughts are....with the family and friends who will be there to share his memories....Rest in peace Arter! Oliver and Victoria Hitch

Uncle Artie and Aunt Lei...
I have so many memories running through the house on Hampton Hills Lane... the pool table... the beautiful music box that played on the stair landing.... the peacocks that Daddy gave you all... hahaha... Sunday night dinners.... and most of all my first pike !! That was the moment I knew I loved fishing.
Time pushes on and we all need to never forget the precious times we had together.
Thank you.
Liz
