I remember Barbie from school when we had a class together in the gifted program at NKHS. She always had an infectious smile that just lifted you up if things weren't going your way and was someone who always saw the best in each of us. Like so many others, we lost touch after leaving school, but I know she will be missed as she was a bright light in the life of anyone who had the honor or knowing her.
