BARTLETT, Charles Edward "Charlie," 65, of Chesterfield, died on Thursday, November 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Loving Bartlett. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Scherryl Redmond Bartlett; daughters, Darlene Taylor, and Charlene Fisher and husband, Patrick; four grandchildren, Christopher Taylor and his wife, Michelle, Kristen Ashley Taylor, Zachary Fisher, and Emilie Fisher; one great-grandson, Wyatt Taylor; two sisters and their husbands, Doey and Carl Lee White, and Pat and Jim Rollins; nephews, Lee White and John Rollins; a devoted aunt, Bertie Sheehan; loving companions, Ginny and Lily; and a host of friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, at Bliley's- Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday. Entombment Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Ampthill Presbyterian Church, 2800 Falling Creek Ave., Richmond, Va. 23234.

I am so sorry to hear about Charlie. He was a good man and always liked to kid with me when he saw me. My memories of him will always be good ones, as he was such a nice person. I can see him sitting at Hank's and enjoying himself. I would like you to know that I am here for you, as your neighbor and as your friend. Charlie is now with our Lord and I am sure he is at peace and happy now, no longer in any pain. Remember the years you had with him and treasure them, until you meet again.
