FOSTER, Charles Frank, 87, of West Point, died Friday, December 4, 2009. Frank was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from Chesapeake Corporation as a maintenance superintendent. His wife of 57 years, Martha J. Foster, preceded him in death. He is survived by three sons, Dennis Foster and his wife, Glenda, of Johns Island, S.C., Calvin Foster and his wife, Shiela, of Fredericksburg, Va. and Bryan Foster of West Point; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many friends and extended family members. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 8 at 11 a.m. at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. Burial will follow in Sunny Slope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to West Point Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department, P.O. Box X, West Point, Va. 23181. So glad I saw Frank about 2 weeks ago in Wmbg. Talked with him for about 10 minutes. I will miss seeing him. Our condolences and prayers to the Family.
