Stanley Wayne Brewer, age 80, of West Point, VA passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. He was born on June 9, 1945, in Norfolk, VA.

Stanley was a devoted son, big brother, husband, father and grandfather, and he will be remembered for the love and care he shared with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Donna Rae Brewer; a son, Jason Brewer; daughter-in-law Cristie; grandchildren, Ethan and Giselle; siblings, Karen Maute and Connie Casey: extended family members including Blaire and Teresa Wilson.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Hulda Mae.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed many passions including barefoot water skiing, fishing, hunting, the saxophone, genealogy, writing his daily snippets, serving his community and spending time with his loved ones.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to this family. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in those who knew him best.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, January 17th, 2026 at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point VA 23181. The family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his honor to benefit the Richard "Ricky" Sturtz Christmas Children's Fund, sponsored by the West Point Ruritans Club; checks may be made payable to the West Point Ruritans Club, P.O. Box 803, West Point, VA 23181 or West Point Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad Department, PO Box X, West Point, VA 23181.
