I just learned of Cheryl's death today and was truly saddened. I worked with her at Richmond Eye and Ear and had kept in touch. I last saw her at St Mary's after her procedure. I don't know a time when she didn't have a smile and a story to make you laugh. May God Bless you all. Cheryl was truly one in a million and will be greatly missed.

I came across Cheryl's obituary and wanted to give her family my heartfelt condolences. I knew Cheryl for 16 years and was so impressed with her nursing skill at Richmond Eye and Ear that I was delighted to recruit her as a home healthcare nurse in my practice. Cheryl did an excellent job for us and became a friend to me and all of my office staff. We and all of the patients that she helped are grateful to have met her.

Dearest Calvin and family what a great loss to us what a great addition in heaven. Mom has lost her best friend and we have all lost a treasured friend. I could go on for a long time telling you how precious Cheryl was but anyone that knew her already knows. She will be missed by us all. We love you and if any of you need anything we are here. I always enjoyed being with Cheryl when I was invited along on her outings with my good friend, Betty Miller Hanser, Cheryl's sister-in-law and the times Cheryl came to my house for various wedding and baby showers. Cheryl was one in a million! Sweet, kind and caring about everybody and she had a heart of gold. We will all miss her! Our condolences to her family. Cheryl will be missed by many.

To the Miller family, I will keep you in my prayers. Cheryl was one of the best and sweetest nurses here at Retreat. She loved all of you so dearly that she could not help but speak of you at work all the time. She kept a smile on her face even when she was tired or not feeling good. God made a wonderful choice when he chose to return her home to him. Don't worry she is in very good hands. She will be watching over all of you. Keep the good times you all had with her in your hearts and minds. That will help you to get through your greiving of her passing. Be strong and support each other.
I will miss seeing that happy face on night shift when I go up on PCU where she worked.

To the Miller family,
Thoughts and prayers from her Retreat family are with you during this terrible time. She was always concerned for the rest of us, and her patients. It is difficult to imagine the night shift without her sweet smile and caring ways. I guess God needed a Christmas angel and He sure got one! If it is any comfort, just know how much love and pride she felt for her entire family, no matter how busy she was, she always found a minute to talk about her family which she cherished, always pulling out the lastest family pictures which she treasured.
