Constance Elaine BENTLEY

BENTLEY, Constance Elaine, 79, of Chesterfield, passed away peacefully October 20, 2009. She was born September 27, 1930 in Clarksburg, W.Va. to Roma and William C. Power, and was raised in Freeport, N.Y. on Long Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, Belvin Bentley, USAF retired; her parents; her brother, Billy; and sister, Allie Marie. She is survived by two daughters, Dr. Barbara Laird and Brenda Gray; five grandchildren, David Light, Meaghan Pantoni, Meredith Gray, Mackenzie Gray and Mollie Laird; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Nick, CJ and Grayson Pantoni; former son-in-law and trusted medical advisor, Steve Light; two sisters, Sarah Ring and Norma Hutzell; her nieces and nephews and their families, and her friends from the Y.M.C.A. and her Sunday School class at Central Baptist Church. Her family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church on Courthouse Road. Mom will be laid to rest with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
