GIBSON, David Elwood, 57, of Quinton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Betty West; stepfather, Edmond West; brothers, Paul Gibson (Cheryl), Steve Gibson (Libby), Milton Gibson, Linwood Gibson, E.C. West (Karen); sisters, Betty Burch, April Pauley (Chuck); and numerous other loving family and friends. David was a retired Army veteran who served during the Vietnam era. His remains rest at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, Virginia.

To all of David's loved ones, may God give us the strength to cope with this loss. As we know David's faith in the Lord was strong so he is smiling down upon us. Thank you David for being a great nephew to moma (Aunt Dot)you truly loved her and she loved you as well! You will be in our thoughts and hearts forever!
