GIBSON, David Elwood, 57, of Quinton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Betty West; stepfather, Edmond West; brothers, Paul Gibson (Cheryl), Steve Gibson (Libby), Milton Gibson, Linwood Gibson, E.C. West (Karen); sisters, Betty Burch, April Pauley (Chuck); and numerous other loving family and friends. David was a retired Army veteran who served during the Vietnam era. His remains rest at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, Virginia.
