McNEELY, Donald Divine, 70, of Chesterfield, Va., died June 10, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold D. McNeely; mother, Edith W. McNeely; and a half-brother, Ronald L. Smith. He is survived by his wife, Pat Thompson McNeely; sons, Michael McNeely of Covington, Va. and Raymond McNeely; one daughter, Stephanie Kegley of Chesterfield, Va.; and three granddaughters and two great-granddaughters. He is also survived by two sisters, Joyce (McNeely) Johnston of Waynesboro, Va. and Linda (McNeely) Madison of Chester, Va.; one brother Gary W. McNeely of Chesterfield, Va.; a half-brother. Bobby G. Smith of Covington, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Covington High School, served in the Army, worked on the C&O Railroad until he retired, was very active in fishing and golf, and was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodge of Covington, Va. He was also a member of the Good News Free Will Baptist Church of Chesterfield, Va. A memorial service was held for family and friends on Wednesday, June 16 at 1 p.m. at the Good News Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Glen Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donnie's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060. (800) 227-2345.
