Dorothy Mae "Dottie" Harris

HARRIS, Dorothy Mae "Dottie", of Richmond, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sellus and Lucy Harris, and a nephew, Bobby Harris. She is survived by four sisters, Louise Loving, Janice Luck, Virginia Holloway, and Betty Mullins; two brothers, Lewis Harris and Charles Harris; one niece, Janet Chatless; five nephews, Linwood Loving, Raymond and Kevin Luck, Mickey Harris, and David Holloway; and many devoted and loving friends, including Roger Layne. Ms. Harris retired from Verizon after 45 years of service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the Nelsen Funeral Homes' Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 15, with burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery.
