Earl Franklin Gilpatrick

GILPATRICK, Earl Franklin, 94, died November 1, 2010, in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harvey and Rose Craft Gilpatrick and his wife, Gladys Russell. He is survived by a sister, Doris Bowser of Leechburg, Pa.; and a brother, Clarence of Lewiston, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gilpatrick served in the Pacific Theatre in World War II. He retired from Interbake Foods in 1980 after 33 years of service. He was an avid golfer until health forced him to give up the sport. He was an active member of New Covenant Baptist Church for many years. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Danville at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 20. A memorial service will be held at New Covenant Baptist Church at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 21. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to New Covenant Baptist Church.
