BROWN, Mrs. Emma Mines, of Richmond, departed this life April 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ready; and two sons, Carroll Mines and Stuart E. Mines Sr. She is survived by one son, Wilson Mines; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; one devoted sister, Edith Hinton; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Marian and Clara Mines; one sister-in-law, Catherine Ready; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. Queen Harris officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45 p.m. Friday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.
