SELDEN, Ethel Phillips, 85, of Dinwiddie, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 14, 2010. She was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Sallie Mayton Phillips; and the widow of Howard R. Selden. Ethel was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co., and a dedicated member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Wray and husband, Jesse; son, Donald R. Selden and wife, Dolores; grandchildren, Jessica B. Wray, Joyce Selden Price and husband, Jerry H. Price Jr., and Steven Ray Selden and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Kayla M. Selden, Jerry H. Price III, Harley S. Price, Steven R. Selden Jr. and Mariah N. Selden; sister, Blanche Phillips Bradley; and other loving family members. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
