LYON, Eugenia "Jean" Hitt, 88, of Midlothian, Va., formerly of Orange, Texas, went to be with the Lord October 3, 2010. She was the widow of John B. Lyon Jr. She is survived by her son, John B. Lyon III and his wife, Patti Walker Lyon, of Wimberley, Texas; sister, Louise Booth of Villa Park, Calif.; two grandchildren, Robert B. Lyon of Denton, Texas, and Erin Michelle Lyon of Wimberley, Texas; also a niece, Nancy Marcello of South Point, Ohio. Mrs. Lyon had worked for DuPont for 16 years. She was a lover of animals, flowers and poetry. She will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Entombment Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made at woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com.

Everyone at Lucy's Cafe loved Mrs. Jean with all their heart! She shared many many stories with us about her son and husband. One of my favorite memories will always be when we took her with us during the hurricane. We had a blast! Love u Mrs. Jean! We will always remember u!!!!!!!!!!!
