AJOOTIAN, Frederick Haig, 85, of White Stone, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Marguerite Callahan Ajootian; two daughters, Aileen Ajootian of Oxford, Mississippi and Caroline Stein of Philomath, Oregon; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 11, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, Kilmarnock. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Margurete, you very probably do not remember me. But I remember you and Fred very well. When we first moved here (in 1986) I admired that the two of you were so active in the community. I also appreciated your help in the Coast Guard course that I took at the library (I think it was the library). I extend my sympathy to you at this difficult time for you.
