I worked with Geraldine at Home Beneficial. She "adopted" my son Willie Joe and always remembered his birthday and Christmas. I lost my son 5 years ago and hope he and Geraldine are catching up on old times! She was a wonderful and unique person with a huge heart. She will be greatly missed. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Kathy, Kaninka, and “Tee”
Death sometimes seems to take us by surprise even though as Christians we know it is an inevitable part of life’s journey…“to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8), yet the tears flow while the ache in our hearts feels like it will never go away. Thanks be to God, earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal, (Psalm 121:2) “My help cometh from the Lord…” Therefore, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) For Matthew has fought “…the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (Timothy 6:12) And now we await as John confessed in Revelation 21:1-7 “I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, John saw the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of the heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for those words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”
Your Mother will be greatly missed.
With great love for you and your family, our deepest heartfelt condolences. You are in our hearts and our prayers.
Love,
Yvette Snead-Johnson
