Grace Coffman

COFFMAN, Grace Louise, 87, passed away December 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Edward Randolph "Randy" Coffman; her grandson, Brad Hogge; and a sister, Margaret Estis. Louise is survived by her daughters, Betty Gale Sibley, and her husband, Jim Kirk, Patricia Hogge and her husband, Ronnie; and her son, Ed Coffman and his wife, Nell. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jill Purks (Adam), Shelia Brizendine (Evans), Steven Hogge (Cassi), and John Taylor (Carey); nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mae Sherwood. Louise was a longtime member of West Point United Methodist Church. The family wishes to acknowledge the kindness and loving care provided by the staff of Lucy Corr Village where Grace resided for the last five years. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 12, at the Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va., with the burial following in Sunny Slope Cemetery.
