MAY, Henry "Fred Joe," 87, of Richmond, departed this life Saturday, December 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edith S. May. He retired from Concrete Pipe & Products Company after 40 years of service. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. Left to cherish his precious memory are 12 children, Irene, Delores, Alma, Joe (Cynthia), Arlene, George (Linda), Larry, Melvin (Robin), Willie (Wanda), Joann (Pernell), Doris and Karen May; 32 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends on Thursday, December 17 (today) from 7 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Friday, December 18 at 11 a.m. Rev. Ronald C. Taylor officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Online guest book at scottsfuneralhome.com.
