IRENE BRADY Obituary

BRADY, Irene Parton, 80, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Brady; and a daughter, Patsy A. Wheeler. Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Moon, Linda B. Hooks of Ashland and Janice Mathews (Richard) of Mechanicsville; two sons, Ralph Wheeler (Connie) of Powhatan and Tim Wheeler (Kim) of Williamsburg; two sisters, Clara Marlow and Joyce Williams; three brothers, James Parton, Max Parton and Jim Parton, all of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice of Central Virginia for their loving care.
