DEWEES, Jane Stables, 80, of Richmond, widow of Bill DeWees, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010. She is survived by a son, William R. DeWees II; three daughters, Amanda Smith and husband, Dan, Barbara Upperman and husband, Alan, and Dawn Guggemos and husband, Eddie; six grandchildren, Angel, Scott, Roy, Chandra, Nicholas and Jennifer; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Katherine Asbury and Thelma Smith; and two brothers, Calvin Stables and James Stables. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 25, with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Hospice.
