Jeffrey Conner Obituary

Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch on Oct. 10, 2010.
CONNER, Jeffrey L., age 45, of Chesterfield County, died October 8, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Conner; and a brother, Mike Conner. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly A. Conner; two sons, Bradley H. and Nicholas L. Conner; his mother-in-law, Betty Kozak; his mother, Rebecca Brooks; a brother, Steve Conner; and a sister, Kim Clendaniel. Jeff was a loving husband and father. His greatest loves were watching his boys play sports and of course watching his grass grow. Because of the seeds he planted, both his lawn and his boys will continue to grow stronger. "GO SKYHAWKS, GO COWBOYS, GO REDS!" He will always be in our hearts and he was loved by everyone he came in contact with. His remains rest at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6300 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and immediately following at 7 p.m., a funeral service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.

Talk about being floored. I am so sorry to hear about Jeff. Justin just called from Richmond to tell me. He had just heard the news about Jeff and it happened on his birthday. We will definately remember Jeff for many things: singing, jokes, laughter, hugs, sunglasses, SPORTS, SON'S, and his kindhearted way's. You meet some people in life that just stick with you and Jeff was one of those people. What he loved he loved with all he had. Kim....you and your boys were talked about many times at my house in chesterfield. He loved all of you so much and loved to brag about all of you. His is a smile that will be truly missed. Big Jeff :)

Kim, Bradley and Nick,
We are soo sorry for you guys lost. He was such a nice man and we will always remember him. Try to remember that Jeff is in a better place now and he will be your angel in the sky looking down at yall and watching over his family. Jeff loved messing with those referee's at Nick's Basketball games. When he was at the games we knew it was going to be exciting.
Sincerely, Kevin, Angie, and JJ Jones

Kim, Bradley and Nick:

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Jeff was truly an outgoing guy and we all will miss him. He has always been there throughout our Salem years. Just hearing him yell from the bleachers during basketball games and the fence line during football and baseball games. He truly supported his sons in sports and that will be something that they can always cherish. Just remember that he will always be there in your hearts and memories. When you hear those silent yells and words of encouragement, just know he is there rooting you on. If you need anything just let us know. Just remember, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
