Dear Mrs Collins, Mary Rita, Jim and Sean, and David. JoAnn and I want to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to each of you in the sudden and unexpected loss of your dauther, sister and wife. Judy and I had the priviledge of knowing Judy since grade school. I will always cherish her hospitality and graciousness that Mr. and Mrs. Collins extended to all of Judy's friends during those years when they opened their home to us to have our Friday and Saturday get togethers with their daughter. I last saw Judy at our high school reunion this past summer, and I will remember her infectious laughter as we reminisced all the times in our lives.

Whoever had the priviledge of crossing paths with Judy made a friend for life. To know her was to love her. She was so caring and giving no words could express what a dear friend she was to many. Our girls night out will not be the same. I'm still trying to figure out how we are all going to make it without her. We've cried, laughed and have made so many wonderful memories through the years. Judy always had a way of making the bad situation better. God Bless the entire family and give them the strength to get through this difficult time and help them go on living their lives happily and healty as Judy would want them to. Dearest Cede,
As I read this morning of Judy's passing, I am just stunned, in shock, filled with disbelief and saddened beyond any words I could write. When I first went to work at Thalhimer's Studio to work back in 1978, Judy welcomed me with open arms and a big smile, and we were instant friends. We laughed, cried and shared so many wonderful times together. To know her was to love her. She was so full of life and her upbeat personality was very contagious. Please know that you, David, Jaimie and the entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. Although I can not be with you tomorrow, please know that I will be there in spirit. Remember when you all took me in and opened your home & hearts to me when I was in my third year of college. My gosh when I got accepted to MCV, Judy was so excited you'd have thought she was my mom - even though she was way too young! And, of course she threw a great party then and always. I think Jamie was around 10 or maybe even youger at the time so the memories go way back. Judy and I graduated together; in fact,
Den (my husband and Judy's childhood neighbor) and I sat with Judy and Dave at our 40th high school reunion this past summer. Also, Den just caught a glimpse just lasted Thursday of them both at the Loose Moose and was unable to catch them to say hi. We are shocked and deeply saddened. Actually our brains are still refusing to accept this information. We can't imagine your pain and loss. Time spent together was always fun and we only have good memories.
