CRANDALL, Katharine P., of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evangeline Kirkendall. Katharine is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Goshorn and her husband, John; her grandson, John Goshorn IV and wife, Nicole; and her granddaughter, Ashton Bauer and husband, Alex. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Marchin; three nieces, Diane Szuch and husband, Don, Suzana Flemmens and husband, Robert, and Therese Axenfield; and one nephew, Dr. John P. Marchin. Mrs. Crandall was a retired supervisor at Chippenham Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, where a memorial service will follow the visitation at 6 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.

Cheryl,Loving sympathy and prayers to the entire family. Mrs Crandall sure kept a smile on my face,I loved her stories and her sweet voice they will always be remembered. GOD bless

Katy and my mom were good friends, when they were neighbors at the appartments off Chippingham Pkwy. All of us kids were so glad tha.t she and our mom had each other to rely on from time to time. We are sorry to hear of her passing. Our condolences to her family.
