HALL, Katie M., of Valentines, Va., died on Sunday, May 9, 2010 in the Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond, Va. She is survived by two sons, Bertain Beasley of Richmond, Va. and Lawrence Beasley of Lynchburg, Va.; one daughter, Lawanda Diane Garner of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, James Pearson of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Annie Miles and Sallie Beasley of Brooklyn, N.Y.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Gaston Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Tony Floyd officiating. Interment will be in the Pearson Family Cemetery in Valentines, Va. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Knox-High Mortuary, Inc., Emporia, Va.
