DEAR TOMMY AND SETH,
I JUST WANTED YOU BOTH TO KNOW THAT YOU'RE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. LORIE WAS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON, BOTH INSIDE AND OUT. SHE ALWAYS HAD AN EAR TO LISTEN AND I HAD AN EAR TO LISTEN TO HER. SHE COULD MAKE ME LAUGH, WHEN I WAS AT MY LOWEST. SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE THAT WOULD LIGHT UP A ROOM. THERE IS PROBABLY A NEW STAR IN THE SKY THAT GOD HAS LITE UP JUST FOR HER. DON'T REMEMBER THE PAIN OF HER ILLNESS. JUST REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES, I KNOW THEY'RE MANY. REMEMBER HER SMILING FACE AND LOVE FOR PEOPLE AND FOR ANIMALS. YALL WERE WONDERFUL NEIGHBORS AND LIFETIME FRIENDS.

LOVE ALWAYS,

RUTH & ERNIE JARRELL

A few years ago, I interviewed Tommy Greene for an article I was writing. I'd grown up a Phillies fan and was truly honored by his generosity and kindness. He spoke so respectfully of his wife and all they'd accomplished together. I still remember seeing beautiful Lorie in the crowd at Phillies games when I was a kid. I did not know her personally, but I know that Tommy and Lorie were loved and respected in Philadelphia. God bless the Greene and Childress families. -Jessie, Philadelphia

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (passed away), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 – King James Version
You will see her again when Christ returns for all of us at the gathering together!!!
And there is even more good news after that.
4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelations 21:4 – King James Version
We love you and will keep you both in our prayers
Love Doug & Priscilla

Tommy and Seth,

God saw she was so tired
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around her
And whispered, come with me.

With tear filled eyes we watched her
As she slowly went away
Although we loved her deeply
We could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Her soul was put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best........

Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
