Louis R. Belcolore

BELCOLORE, Louis R., age 60, of Newtown, Conn., died December 7, 2009 in Danbury, Conn. He was the husband of Jeannette (Barressi) Belcolore. He was born on September 18, 1949 in Queens, N.Y., a son of the late Louis P. and Margaret (Bodnovich) Belcolore. Lou served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1970 to 1972. He was employed by IBM from 1968 to 1998 and by Altria from 1999 to 2007. Mr. Belcolore resided in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. from 1979 to 2003 and in Richmond, Va. from 2003 to 2007, when he moved to Newtown. In addition to his wife of 37 years, Lou is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Belcolore-Arguello and her husband, Raul, and Lisa Merrill and her husband, Kevin; and four grandchildren, Isabella Mia Arguello, Gabriella Sofia Arguello, Antonio Arguello and Benjamin Merrill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, Conn. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lungusa.org.
