BROWN, Lucille Snyder "Aceal," of Mechanicsville, was called home on October 24, 2010. She was born June 13, 1930 to Martin Luther Fitzgerald and Tiney Lena Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Edward Snyder. Lucille is survived by her daughters, Shelby Moncure (Bill), Sandy Castorani (Bob) and Kim Ketner (Mike); grandchildren, Mike Fainter (Susan), JT Brown (Shelly), Paiton Moncure, Krista Ormsby (Kris), Michael Ketner, Russ Moncure (Missy); and great-grandchildren, Owen, Lucas and Tessa Fainter, Abigail and Bethany Brown, Ryan and Kailey Ormsby, Will and Ally Moncure; sisters, Rachel Smith of Mechanicsville and Gladys Parcell of Dearborn, Mich.; and sister-in-law, Jackie Fitzgerald. She will be remembered for her love of family and her devotion and love as a child caregiver. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26, and Wednesday, October 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, Mechanicsville, where services will be held on Thursday, October 28, at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Signal Hill.

Aceal, you were a dynamic and amazing woman. I am very lucky to have had you as my grandmother. Not a day has gone by that I don't think of you at least once. I miss you terribly, but I know you're in great hands now. I will always love you.
