To Surviving Relatives of the late Mother Mary Epps
Mother Epps was the epitome of a virtuous women who defined the role of the eldely in the modern day chuch wolrd. She preached the acceptable year of the Lord, prayed without ceasing, sung praises unto the Lord, and shared her tesimony with others.
I, too, know the feeling of loosing a Mother and shall continue to keep the family in my prayers and thoughts.
Her legacy lives on as a reminder to the church world that God calls the old because they know the way and are the voices that cry loud under the unction of the "Tongue Talking Holy Ghost" in the last days.

To Cindy and the boys, my condolences for your loss. During my mother's life, Mary was her closest friend. As much as I miss Mother Brown, I will miss Mary. I celebrate her life, as I know you do, because I knew her to be a true "Child of the King."
I pray for your continued strength through Christ. My love to you all.

To: The Bradley-Henderson-Eppes family
I can recall sister Eppes on many occasions ( in later years with a walker as her third leg) giving God the praise of her lips. She loved God and God loved her. The loved she had for God was unquestionable. 2 Cor 5:7 and 2 Cor 4: 16-18 says, Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed. For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Sleep and take your rest I'll see you in the morning. My deepest sympathy to the family of Mother Eppes.May God comfort and keep you. I met Mother Eppes when I first left New York in 1997, when I was not saved. when I was in a world of sin. I would go to church, and stop go to church and stop. She told me " Baby, come back to church, you got a lot of work to do for the Lord." Never once did she judge me, but she prayed with me and for me. I thank God for allowing me to meet such an Awesome Woman of God in my life time. My prayers of comfort will be with the Henderson, Eppes and Bradley families.

I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days with Mother Epps 12 yrs ago at the Mcdonald House as we await her granddaughter Arlisa Collier heart surgery.Mother Epps would pray until tears rolled from our eyes. She talked about how happy she and Decon Epps was, as if they were teenagers with fresh innocent love. She was instrumental in building up young people. She had a real testimony of how God can- know matter what you been threw - will make your latter days better than your former. We will miss her deeply. To the family we are praying for you ,what a great lost.
