I grew up in Church Hill, where the Browns were the first of very few blacks who owned a business. We fondly called it "The Little store" because is was a tiny little building right on the corner. I will always remember Mrs Brown's kindness. For many years my family attended Bethlehem where the Brown family attends and they were one of long time families of Bethlehem also. To the family I extend my deepest sympathy in Mrs Brown's passing. She was a kind, christian woman who was loved by many.

Kimberly and family: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time but remember your mother is resting in the comfort of God's loving embrace.

For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himslef. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lords. Romans 14:7-8

Stay strong my sister and know you'll see her again in that heavenly home. We love you and we're here for you.

I would like for the family to know that my dear sister-in-law gave me my first job. That was taking care of her precious possessions, her young children from time to time. This is why I honor, love and will forever miss my dear sister-in-law.
