Jeanne and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Manny was a very special person to the Turpin household. My mom starting going to Manny when he started off at Miller & Rhoads. I think he did her hair for a dance or the prom. She continued to use his salon for many years. I use to have my hair cut at Manny's when he was at his old shop that use to be a streetcar station. Manny even came to the hospital and cut my mom's hair when she was going through cancer. My mom passed away in June of 2010. Nothing but fond memories of Manny...god bless!
