As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. May God give you peace and comfort. I spoke with Ms. Nora often when she was in the Life Sciences Building at VCU. I will miss her smile and friendly personality. She did love her hats!

It was just last week that I showed Ms. Nora the guest book entry for her mother and printed it out for her. She was so elated to see that such a thing existed. Now, a week later, I'm writing an entry for Ms. Nora. I will truly miss her, especially her morning stories and acts of kindess she showed to all who came in her presence. I'll love you always...

To the Family of Ms. Nora Gaines,
I was very sadden to hear what happened to Ms. Gaines. I will miss seeing her walking around the VCU campus moving from building to building. She was a very hard working lady, and she loved her hats. May she rest in peace.
