Alva,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. There are no words, but know that I am here for you if you need me. Although I only met her the one time, it was a pleasure to meet the woman that created the person I have gotten to know over the years in you, for you are a wonderful reflection of who she was. Our prayers are with you and your family. Please hug and kiss Aviah and Ajahn.

Dear Alva,
A death in the family leaves a void that cannot be filled. We know that no one in this world can ever take the place of your mother. Therefore, we will not try to comfort you by saying "it was her time",or,"she was suffering".While these words may be true, their comfort at this moment is fleeting – and while there must be time to mourn the fact that things will never be the same."One minute she was here and now she is gone". Our minds must be given time to accept this reality and mourning is a part of the human experience.
After the death of her son,my Grandmother said to me," no one should ever have to bury their child; this is the only pain worse than the death of your mother". So Alva, we say to you in love that "trouble don't last always and indeed, joy does come in the morning".Please give Ajahn and Aviah a BIG hug and kiss and know this to be true.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Alva, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I know that you know that God does not make mistakes, and that he was ready to bring His love one home where there is no more pain or trouble. He is just good like that. He also took care of you by leaving such great memories of her behind.
Know that there are lots of friends and church family around whenever you need us.

Love you,

Sophie Moses
