My parents, Rip and Libby Claybrook, were friends of Paul and Carolyn when they were young couples together in Petersburg in the late 1950's; my Dad was principal of the old A.P. Hill Elementary School at the time. Memories of those days still mean a lot to me although I was a little kid then, and my parents, who now live in Harrisonburg, and I want Carolyn and your family to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

God has taken home another Son, his work on Earth was done. Each moment he shared with each of you shall be a treasure you will have for ever. He now rest at the Throne of God. Each day he'll walk along the pathway which was laid, by God's Grace and Love he still lives today. In your heart he will always stay and his love for you is never far away.
May your faith in God guide and comfort you all as you go through life without the one you loved. May the Sun be upon his shoulder and the clouds bring him laughter, he loves you all even in the here after. Op.
