I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Paul. He was such a good friend. We had hung out for years on Summer Street in Gardner...I lived in the basement apartment of the same house so we hung out alot though we had been friends long before I had moved in. There was a group of us that were inseparable...watching Bruins games, playing darts, cooking up Buffalo wings, going out for breakfast at 4am. They are some of my fondest memories in life.
I was so happy to see him last July when he came home for a visit. I told him he had to join facebook so we could stay in touch and was so glad when he did.
From the day I met Paul I knew he was special...someone who just had a good soul. In all the time we spent together, I have never once seen anyone angry at Paul. He was someone that would give the shirt off his back to help his friends. He always had a smile. We've lost a brother but the heavens have gained an angel. I will miss him so very much. My sympathy to all of his family.

To the entire Maillet Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Paul over 20 years ago at MCF. After many years of not seeing or hearing how Paul was doing, we rediscovered each other through facebook. We kept in close contact for the past year with messages back and forth though I was not able to visit with him. He will be sorely missed. His witty character was something I have always cherished. Paul, know that you brought great joy to my life recently when we reconnected after all those years. And to his family, keep memories of Paul close to your hearts. God Bless you all!
