Raymond BABER Obituary

BABER, Mr. Raymond C., of Mechanicsville, departed this life April 23, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Marian C. Baber; two sons, Calvin D. (Jennie) and Eric L. (Robin); five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Baber; four brothers-in-law, James Carter, Archie Campbell Sr., Peyton Dabney and Cornelius Tinsley; five sisters-in-law, Giolia C. Tinsley, Magnolia Dabney, Mabel E., Irene L. and Florine Carter; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them two devoted, Marjorie Jackson and Donald Carter; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th Street. Remains will lie in state Thursday, 11 a.m., at Rock Hill Baptist Church, 4271 Rockhill Rd., Mechanicsville, where funeral services will be held at 12 noon. Rev. Phillip E. Knight Sr., pastor, officiating. Burial Signal Hill Cemetery.

You all are still so dear to my heart and always will be. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Raymond is in a better place. He is suffering no longer.
