Having met Mr. Chakales about a year ago and in speaking with him on almost a daily basis, he's shared with me stories of everything from long days in contruction, to golf courses, to baseball stats, to the perfect pitch. Know that he will be watching over you just as vivaciously as he lived his earthly life. I pray you the strength to celebrate his life, rather than our loss. We will all miss him dearly.

Susan, I know words can't describe the feelings at this time but please know that all of your friends here in Raleigh/Durham have you on our minds and have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. I never knew your father but since his passing, I have read a number of articles about him and about the wonderful, exciting life that he led. What a remarkable man! What pride there must be to have been apart of his life. Stay strong through this difficult time. Remember, he will be there to watch over you and all will be well.

you are in our thoughts always,
