I well remember the Bates family when growing up at my grandmother's across the street on Noble. They were special to my aunts, uncles and parents.
With deepest sympathy,

I am sadden to hear of your Mother's passing. I have fond memories of her as the "fortune teller" when there was a Halloween Carnival @ Bon Air Elementary School. She was always so eager to help the teachers and the students whenever there was anything that required outside help. Billy and I were in the same class there all of the way through elementary school.

Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers.

Sincerely,
Jane Carlisle Totty (Collier)

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. I have fond remembrances of Mrs. Nelson's bright smile & cheerful nature at all times and I know that you will all miss her a great deal. I know that you just had the joint birthday celebration last weekend & I'm sure it will provide good memories. I am sorry I cannot be with you on Monday but please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you all. Bev Morelli Kiernan
