The "Rozeal Diamond" teaching style perpetuates...Aloha Pumehana (with all my love)

My math mentor and the most inspirational teacher of all times, Mrs. Rozeal Diamond. I owe all my successes in life to her for believing in me, and her unselfish financial assistance with my college education. Her pearls of wisdom to me when I was disappointed at not having the monies to go to an Ivy League college were, "Why be a small fish in a big ocean, when you can be a big fish in a small pond?"
She made it possible for me to attend Virginia State University without having to pay a dime. God blessed me by sending Mrs. Diamond as my Guardian Angel. Now, I train math teachers throughout the State of Hawaii. I teach using the "Rozeal Diamond" model...her teaching style lives on. God blessed her and all who were inspired under her tutelage. She was THE BEST MATH TEACHER, ever!!!
I love you and will never ever forget you. sniff sniff sniff.

Mrs. Diamond was a great lady and a great teacher. She taught me to love and understand Trig. and Calculus when I was a student at Maggie L. Walker H.S. (1966-67) She demanded excellence from each of us, and was instrumental in my becoming an electrical engineer.

Mrs. Diamond taught me trigonometry at Maggie Walker High School in 1960. Because of her I became excited about math and did well with it throughout my school days. She was a great teacher and an outstanding role model.
