QUICKE, Ruby Wilson, 87, of Clarksville, Virginia passed away Friday, November 20, 2009. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chase City. Mrs. Quicke was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a very special grandmother, "Nana Rube". She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Quicke, of Clarksville; her daughters and son-in-law, Janice and Earle Moore of Chase City, and Joy Denise Hardage of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tiffany Moore Duerr of Atlanta, Ga.; Joy Alison Moore of Miami Beach, Fla.; Christopher M. Hardage of Richardson, Texas and Amy Jo Hardage of Ft. Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jackson Riley Duerr and Charles Winston Duerr of Atlanta, Ga. and Colin M. Hardage of Richardson, Texas; and her sister, Mary Ann Kraus of Fredericks-burg also survive. Our family has been blessed to have her all these years and she will live in our hearts forever. Friends may call at MeadowView Terrance Nursing Home Community Center in Clarksville on Monday night 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel. Officiating will be the Reverends Brandon Ives and Gene Burris. Interment will follow at Oakhurst Cemetery. If family and friends so choose, they may forward donations in Mrs. Quicke's memory to the Halifax Regional Hospice Care, 2204 Wilborn Avenue, South Boston, Va. 24592.
