Brenda Michelle Peregoy, cherished mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her home in Red Oak, VA. Born on March 13, 1972, in Pennsylvania, Brenda lived a life full of love, compassion, and devotion to her family, animals, and community.

A graduate of Potomac Senior High in Woodbridge, VA, Brenda embraced the entrepreneurial spirit as a self-employed business owner. Her passion for creating was matched only by her dedication to her craft, producing exceptional organic market cheese and Bison that were enjoyed by many. Brenda's work reflected her commitment to quality and her deep appreciation for nature and sustainable living.

Brenda possessed a heart as vast as her interests. She was an avid race fan, often cheering with enthusiasm that was contagious to those around her. Her love for animals, especially horses, was evident in her daily life and her interactions with her beloved pets. Known for her "Biggest Heart," Brenda had a genuine love for people, freely offering her warmth, kindness, and generosity to all who met her.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Regina Haulton; her beloved sons, Steven Haulton and his wife Andrea of Nathalie, VA, and Dylan McDowell of Red Oak, VA, as well as Beverly D. Peregoy, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Red Oak. Brenda's legacy is also carried on by her treasured granddaughter, Esme Peregoy; her devoted sister, Angela Hughes of South Hill, VA; and her nieces and nephew, Vallen Rogers, Samantha Hughes, and Seth Hughes. Brenda also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and foster siblings, who will all dearly miss her loving presence.

Brenda was preceded in death by her spouse, Beverly Daniel Peregoy Sr., with whom she shared many cherished memories.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brenda's life at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The family will also receive friends and family at the home of Robert & Regina's (Bob & Gina) home at 2228 Bagley's Mill Road, South Hill, VA where attendees can share their memories and honor the impact Brenda had on their lives.

In Brenda Michelle Peregoy, the world has lost a truly dedicated soul whose warmth and generosity will never be forgotten. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, encouraging them to lead lives filled with kindness and love for both people and animals alike.
