SCHAAF, Shirley M., 76, of the 400 block of Downing Drive in Chesapeake, Va., was called home by the Lord on September 6, 2010. A native of Richmond, Va. she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Annie Schaaf. She is survived by her two daughters, Rose Marie McCarron and husband, Joseph, and Lisa S. Hess and husband, Carl, all of Chesapeake; her son, Wayne Schaaf and Sarah Proffitt of Richmond, Va.; six grandchildren, William and Cassie McCarron, Mason and expected baby boy, Hess, and Makenzie and Hunter Schaaf. An entombment service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Masuoleum Garden, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Kempsville Chapel on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
