Virginia Frye

FRYE, Virginia N. "Lucky," of Richmond, died on January 2, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, John L. and Della E. Nash of Clifford, Va.; and is survived by her husband of 47 years, James M. Frye. Other family survivors are a brother, John Thomas Nash and his wife, Patricia, of Clifford; a sister, Alice N. Coates (widow of James W. Coates), of Lynchburg; six nieces and nephews, David Nash of Clifford, Virginia N. Zirkle and her husband, Michael of Amherst, Thomas Nash and his wife, Heather of Lynchburg, Ann Harper C. Pittman, Ellen Coates, and Elizabeth Coates, all of Richmond; and four grandnieces and grandnephews, Claire Pittman and Joseph Pittman, both of Richmond, Layne Zirkle and LeeAnne Zirkle, both of Amherst. Special surviving friends include Frances Robinson and George Taliaferro. The family will receive friends at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. on Tuesday, January 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 6000 Grove Ave., Richmond, Va. 23226 and at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 36, Clifford, Va. 24533 at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to either of these churches or to a charity of your choice.
