Robert "Bob" Frye, 84, of Green Bay, was brought home by the Lord unexpectedly on November 21, 2025 of natural causes surrounded by family. He was Born on November 17, 1941, the son of the late Frederic and Josephine (Brumlic) Frye.
He graduated from West High School class of 1960 with an emphasis on industrial art courses. Bob went to NWTC for a diploma in Auto Mechanics. He then worked at Red Owl for 21 years, Jerrys Trucking for 10 years, and retired at Metz Bakery as their auto mechanic in 2003.
Bob and Barb were long time members of the Green Bay Yacht Club where he loved boating and the comradery within this community, including numerous cruises on the Green Bay, and big trips across Lake Michigan filled with fanfare. He was known as Builder Bob as well as many other names. He was passionate with working and repairing cars for loved ones. Bob was at his best with family and events especially while hosting big enormous meals at home with Barb for their families, with many notable Halloween and Christmas parties. Bob was a long-time member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Bob was Survived by his Life Companion of 35 years, Barb Machon, Son, Scott Frye (Julie), two Daughters Bobbi Jo(Tom) Abts, and Amy Frye (Jack Koehne), four Grandchildren, Blayne, Marisa Jo (Jordan Harrison), Charity, and Seth. Great Grandson; TJ, Great Granddaughters; Nevaeh Jo & Kyah Grace. Extended family of Tim and Sarah Zoch, Britt & Hannah, Yanni; Jamie and Heather Zoch, and Parker.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother Josephine, father Fredric, and his brother Freddy Frye.
Visitation will be at Pilgrim Lutheran Church 2999 Lakeview Drive, Suamico Wi, 54173, December 2nd with visitation at 9-11am with a service to follow.
