REDMAN, LTC Wallace Dorr, 93, of Heathsville, Va., passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Wally was Director of the Rehabilitation and Education Division and Chief of Counseling with the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Syracuse, New York. In the late '60s, he was transferred to Washington D.C. where he became Financial and Managerial Director of the Veterans Administration. Wally was predeceased by his wife, May Ades Redman, in 1984. Surviving are his daughter, Lynn Redman Haust (William); and his son, Brigadier General Michael Dorr Redman (Shelby); four grandchildren, Ashley Redman Landman of Charlotte, N.C., Morgan Redman McKnight of Charleston, S.C., Johanna Haust and Ethan Haust, both of Ashland, N.H.; one great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Landman; and Ann Kyker, a friend. The family will receive friends at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, Va. on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 23 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Anglican Church, Heathsville, Va., with an Honors Service by the Reedville American Legion. Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Attention: Gift Processing, P.O.
