Bill was always my favorite uncle. We had many good fun times together. I worked for him during the summers when in high school. Sometimes when it was very hot we would quit work early and go swimming in a swimming hole nearby. He had a great sense of humor and a terrific attitude about life. For example, I called him on his 88th birthday and he told me he was going to call me on my 88th!! He will be dearly missed.

I grew up with Uncle Bill always nearby and so enjoyed his humor and concern for others. After I moved away he always welcomed me when I came to visit and had some good stories to tell me and pictures to show of the three generations of his beautiful family which he lived to enjoy. I will miss him.

Bill Dayberry was truly a wonderful Christian man. I first knew him when I became friends with his daughter, Esther. We had so many fun times with him when I visited their home. We went to church together for years. He gave me some spiritual guidance which remains with me today. He had such a good sense of humor. I can almost hear him laughing now. I am so honored and thankful that his younger daughter, Suzie, married my brother, Larry; and became my sister. Mrs. Dayberry is one of the sweetest people I've ever known. My heart goes out to them in their loss. His death is also a loss to many of us who knew and loved him. He is in Heaven today. Godspeed - - we all will miss you until we join you.

Bill's smile and laughter will be missed. He was always so sweet to me and Doug. I wish we could have visited more. We will be thinking of you, Ethel, Esther and Suzie. and of course Bill, the "good looking Dayberry" as I called him. Martha M. Dayberry
