Deborah Watterson Magann, 71, of Chase City, Virginia passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born February 6, 1954 in Richmond, Virginia and is the daughter of the late George Douglas Watterson and the late Cornelia Callahan Watterson. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Magann II. 

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Michelle Magann Fitts (Michael) of Skipwith; grandchildren, Tyler Fitts (Ericka Pool), Madison Fitts (Zachary Hawk), and Matthew Fitts (Sapphire Crandall); her dog, Marley; her cat, Toby; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Deborah enjoyed genealogy, crafts, thrifting and collecting anything Mickey Mouse. She was a member of Mount Horeb Baptist Church. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Chase City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and all other times at her granddaughter’s home, 657 Hanford Road, Skipwith, VA 23968. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Deborah’s memory to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association
